Agricultural Technology Contest Registration

Overview

Schools will register using the Survey and Exam Server web site (www.saeserver.com/WI_UWRF).
  • Registration will begin on Feb. 18th and continue until 10:00 p.m. CDT on March 17.
  • Late registration will begin after 8:00 a.m. on March 18. Late Fees Apply for adding new teams. No late fee is charged for making changes to the members of a team registered prior to March 18th.
  • Registration will close at 10 a.m. CDT on Monday, March 23. Special permission is needed to add teams after this time. Advisors can still add, delete or make substitutions to team members online.
  • Changes to the students on teams can be made online through 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26.
  • Final team member names must be submitted during the school registration time on the day of the contest.
Contest Fee and Payment Information

High School Events will cost $16 per team. Teams added during late registration will cost an additional $9 ($25 total per team).

Middle School Events will cost $8 per team. Teams added during late registration will cost an additional $8 ($16 total per team).

Meal tickets for students will cost $7.50.

There is no charge for entries in the Ag Education, Crop Show or Power Tool Drag Race events.

Invoices can be printed using the online registration system.

Please make checks payable to Agricultural Technology Contest and mail to the UWRF Agricultural Education Department, 410 S. Third St, River Falls, WI 54022.

Payment will be accepted the day of the contest during the school registration time. Please check the Policies page for refund information.
Setting Up Your Advisor Information

Step 1 - Go to http://www.saeserver.com/

Step 2 - Click on Wisconsin- UWRF Agricultural Technology Contest

Step 3 - Click on the Advisor Login button

Step 4 - Select your school from the list and click on the Select & Continue button. If your school does not appear on the list, then please send an email message to Tim Buttles.

Step 5 - Select your name from the list of advisors. If your name is not listed, then click on the Add Advisor button.

Step 6 - Enter your password and click on the Advisor Login button. Your default password will be your chapter number.

Step 7 - Review your advisor information. Click on the Edit My Login Info button. Verify your contact information and enter a more secure password.

You can now proceed to register students.

Registering for Events and Meal Tickets

Step 1 - Go to http://www.saeserver.com/

Step 2 - Click on Wisconsin- UWRF Agricultural Technology Contest

Step 3 - Click on the Advisor Login button

Step 4 - Either

  • Enter your login information and click on the Login button
OR
  • Select your school from the list and click the Select & Continue button. Select your name from the advisor list, enter your password, and click on Advisor Login. Click the Continue button. If your name does not appear on the list, then please send an email message to Tim Buttles.

Step 5 - Click on the Register Students button

Step 6 - Select the Event you wish to register for and click on the Begin Registration button

Step 7 - Select the students for the event and click on the Register Students button. 

If a student is not listed, then click on the Add Students to List button and type in the students name. You can also enter the student's FFA Membership Number or leave that space blank and a temporary number will be assigned.

Step 8 - Enter other information as needed (team type, number of tickets needed...).

Step 9 - Click on the Register for Another CDE button to register for the next event.

Step 10 - Select ***Meal Tickets*** from the event (CDE) list to enter the number of student meal tickets you wish to purchase and the number of complimentary meal tickets you wish to order.

Step 11 - When you have registered for all events, click on the Send Email Confirmation button. You will receive a message that contains a list of each event, students, and total fees.

The button to send a confirmation email is found on the team registration page (Advisor Functions -> Register Students -> Begin Registration).

The button to delete a team is found on the team registration page (Advisor Functions -> Register Students -> Begin Registration).

Checking Payment Status

Payment will be entered into the registration system as received. Start by logging in and clicking on the Show Current Reg Info button.

Next, click on the Billing button.

Any payment received will be listed in the Amount Paid line.
