In a world where college graduates are expected to have jobs and pay rent, Jesse, Alex, and Taylor struggle to create the lives they want for themselves. With varied backgrounds and career goals, Murphy's Law tells the story of the attempts and failures of these three college graduates in their climb for personal success.

But, Alex, the hard-working career girl, finds it difficult to cultivate relationships in a workplace where no one likes her no matter how many LinkedIn connections she has. Jesse is at a loss at how to promote his doll-making business in a world of Etsy competitors while retaining a soul-sucking, minimum-wage job. Taylor? Well, all he's ever wanted is to be the perfect trophy spouse.
