Interdepartmental Mail
  • Postal Services is responsible for all interdepartmental mail
  • The envelope should be clearly marked with the recipient’s name and correct department
  • If the information is generic in nature, Postal Services can deliver the appropriate number of items to each department without labeling each item
  • If items are labeled before delivery, and you have a mass interdepartmental mailing, they need to be grouped by departments not buildings
  • All United States Postal Service (USPS) mail should be separated from interdepartmental mail
