This living and learning community is for first year students pursuing majors in accounting, business administration, computer science and information systems, or economics.

Honor Society

Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS)
This international honor society recognizes business excellence and membership in BGS is the highest recognition a business student can receive in a bachelor's or master's program at a school accredited by AACSB International.

Student Organizations

Accounting Society
This society is open to student who have an interest in accounting or finance. The society engages in professional development experiences as well as social activities. Its mission is to promote account and finance majors to become actively involved in their academic and local community, along with allowing members the opportunity to become well-rounded, business-savvy professionals. Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)
This student group is open to students with an interest in computer technology, video games, programming competitions and robots. Contact Faculty Advisor Hossein Najafimail or President Theodore Mcdonoughmail.

Finance Club
This club is open to all students, staff, alumni and community members interested in finance. Activities include guest speakers, video conferences with investor relations representatives, field trips, and participation in the CFA Research Challenge. Contact Faculty Advisor Charles Corcoranmail.

Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)
The UWRF chapter of SHRM is for students considering a future in business within the field of human resource management and/or labor relations and provides professional development opportunities, including networking and attendance at professional presentation. Student Economic Society
The mission of the Student Economic Society (SES) is to encourage interest in economics among students, faculty and community members. The society sponsors panels discussions and hosts guest speakers to increase awareness of economics issues. Other activities include field trips and social outings.
