Walker D. Wyman Education Building

Opening in 2000, the Wyman Education Building was named after Walker D. Wyman, a history professor who served the university for 41 years. The building is home to the College of Education and Professional Studies and hosts the majority of classes for Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Communication Sciences and Disorders and Social Work majors. Located within the Wyman Education building is a Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic that provides hands-on learning opportunities for students majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders. The clinic also provides speech-language, hearing and swallowing evaluations and therapy to the surrounding communities. Also located in Wyman is the University Preschool that is licensed by the state of Wisconsin and provides half-day educational services to four and five year old children.
