Schedule of Events

Friday, September 30

1-1:30 p.m.         Registration, Lower Level, University Center

Park the car, check in at the lower level of the University Center and meet up with fellow classmates. Coffee and cookies will be served while classmates arrive. 

1:30-4:30 p.m.   Campus Tour, Glass Blowing & Greenhouse Tours

Join us as we tour campus to see how the University has changed, learn about and experience our unique glass blowing studio and tour of our Greenhouse with Dr. David Zlesak.

5:30-8 p.m.        Golden Jubilee Award Ceremony - CANCELED

Saturday, October 1

9 a.m.        Marching Band Breakfast/SciTech Update

Join us in South Hall for a Marching Band Breakfast or an update on our new SciTech building, which recently received authorization for construction from the State Building Commission. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2023 and completed by early 2026.

10 a.m.      Coffee and Donuts at the Alumni Tent at Veteran's Park

11 a.m.      UWRF Homecoming Parade

Enjoy the UWRF Homecoming Parade in downtown River Falls. Class reunion attendees can register to be in the parade. We have secured a wagon to be pulled for those who do register. If you plan to ride in the parade meet at the Alumni Tent at Veteran's Park at 10:30 a.m. to line up. Weather permitting.

12 p.m.      R-Club Pavilion

Join us at the R-Club Pavilion tailgate before the homecoming football game where the UWRF Falcons will take on UW Stevens Point. Enjoy a hamburger or brat and a beer on us!

We will be honoring the Golden Jubilee classes at halftime on Ramer Field. Meet at the north side of the football field near the pavilion.

Class Directory - Deadline Oct. 31

A booklet containing information about the Class of 1970, 1971 and 1972 graduates will be developed and shared with those whom were in attendance at the reunion (and available by request for those who were unable to attend).

To assist us in developing this booklet, please provide a short biography of your accomplishments, family, hobbies, place(s) of residence, etc. and return by email by October 31. We will mail these after the event.

Please limit your responses to 350 words or less. We will not be able to accommodate pictures. 

Class Gift - Falcons Forward

The classes of 1970, 1971 and 1972 will present a class gift to UWRF and Chancellor Gallo at the Golden Jubilee dinner on Saturday. This gift will go toward the Falcon Annual Fund - Falcons Forward. It is the engine that powers resources to address students who have emergency needs, faculty and student grants and student-centered solutions. Your gift will have a profound impact on the university.

It is a busy time of year in River Falls due to Homecoming. Hotels are limited and already becoming full. The closet hotels outside of River Falls are in Hudson, Baldwin, Stillwater and Woodbury.

Parking on Campus

Spaces in Pay Lot 1 and Pay Lot 2 have been reserved for you. No need to have a parking pass or stop by one of the pay stations. Please just park and come in. 

Pay Lot 1 is the large lot located next to North Hall. 

Pay Lot 2 lot is the lot behind the University Center. Turn South on Wild Rose Ave. This lot does fill up fast. 

Please feel free to pull up on the south side of the University Center lower level to drop of any individuals close to the door.

Registration and Cost

REGISTER HERE. Deadline to register is September 23.

The cost of this two-day event is $25 per person. The St. Croix Boat Cruise is separate. Event fee includes tours and presentations around campus, 50-year medallion and class booklet. 

We hope you are able to attend all the events offered during your time on campus but understand if you need to opt out of some. When registering please check the events you are able to attend. Thank you!
