Student check-in and orientation at Dalkeith House

As you make your travel arrangements, please keep in mind that your orientation at Dalkeith House in Scotland begins at 12:00pm on the day indicated on the term calendars above. In order to ensure a successful term, you are required to participate in orientation activities throughout the weekend. If you arrive within the range of dates indicated on the program calendar (1-2 days prior to the start of orientation), your accommodation is included in the program fee. No meals are provided during this time. If you arrive prior to these dates you will be required to pay guest rates at Dalkeith House.

If you need to arrive prior to the dates provided on the calendar, please email Patty Watters, Resident Director of Operations and Student Life, patricia.watters@uwrf.edu, to make arrangements.

A few weeks before the program begins you will receive an email from the program requesting your flight details. It is imperative you respond to this request in a timely manner.

From the Edinburgh Airport, most tired travelers (with all their luggage) will opt to take a taxicab (cab fare is typically £30-40). View directions to find other modes of transportation to Dalkeith House.
