I was born in Milwaukee and raised in the small town of Park Falls in northern Wisconsin. I knew since I was young that I wanted to work in the world of education in some capacity. In 2010, I earned my bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Social Studies from UWRF. I am currently working toward earning my Master's degree in Education through UW-Stout.

I began my professional career as a middle school teacher and assistant principal at a small private school in northern Wisconsin. Two years later, I accepted a position with UW-Stout's TRIO Educational Talent Search, a pre-college program. As an academic advisor I helped students, grades 6-12, learn about post-secondary options and helped them achieve their goals. After our program lost its funding in a grant competition, I accepted another position at UW-Stout as the Multicultural Admissions Counselor.

I am so happy to be back in the world of TRIO as UWRF's newest SSS Academic Coach, starting in February of 2017. I look forward to helping you with any issues that may come up as you realize your goal of attaining a post-secondary degree. I also operate and maintain the SSS website and social media accounts.

In my spare time I enjoy writing, recording, and performing music. I love spending time at the cabin in northern Wisconsin, fishing, boating, and being outdoors.
