I was born in Milwaukee and raised in the small town of Park Falls in northern Wisconsin. I knew since I was young that I wanted to work in the world of education in some capacity. In 2010, I earned my bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Social Studies from UWRF. I earned my Master's degree in Education through UW-Stout in 2019.
I began my professional career as a middle school teacher and assistant principal at a small private school in northern Wisconsin. Two years later, I accepted a position with UW-Stout's TRIO Educational Talent Search, a pre-college program. As an academic advisor I helped students, grades 6-12, explore post-secondary options and helped them achieve their goals.
I am thrilled to be a part of UWRF's SSS program as an academic coach. I look forward to helping you with any issues that may come up as you realize your goal of attaining a post-secondary degree.
In my spare time I enjoy writing, recording, and performing music. I love spending time at the cabin in northern Wisconsin, fishing, boating, and being outdoors.
