University Advisory Council on Health and Wellness

UNIVERSITY ADVISORY COUNCIL ON HEALTH AND WELLNESS

Mission: Students, faculty, and staff and community members who work collaboratively to identify and address health and wellness issues that affect UWRF students, faculty, and staff, in a broad, systematic manner, based on available data, information, and research. This would be accomplished through groups focusing on specific issues, such as the Chancellor's Advisory Council on Alcohol/Tobacco/Drugs, the Sexual Assault Coalition, and the Physical Activity and Nutrition Working Groups.

Campus Sexual Assault Coalition

CAMPUS SEXUAL ASSAULT COALITION

Mission:  To serve as an advisory group to the Chancellor and the campus on sexual violence issues impacting campus and the community, to strengthen the coordination between on-campus services and community services to build comprehensive joint campus and community based services for victims of sexual violence, and to enhance the existing sexual violence prevention education programs on campus.

Chancellor's Advisory Council on Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs

CHANCELLOR'S ADVISORY COUNCIL ON ALCOHOL, TOBACCO, AND OTHER DRUGS

Vision:  To promote a healthy campus community where the harmful effects of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs are minimized.

Mission:  To serve as an advisory council to the Chancellor and the campus on alcohol, tobacco, and other drug issues impacting campus and the community. 

Purpose:  As an advocate for minimizing the harmful effects of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs on campus and in the community, the Council will vet, review, evaluate, and provide recommendations on initiatives, efforts, and policies.
