Mantra Health Services

UW-River Falls is partnering with Mantra Health to give you even more free tele-therapy options for your mental health care through the university. By enrolling in Mantra, you can connect virtually to licensed master’s level therapists to address your unique needs during daytime, evenings, or weekend hours.

Sign Up Directions

Students may easily self-refer for individual tele-therapy services (see directions below).  Free tele-psychiatry (talking about medications with a doctor) is also available, but if a student is interested in Mantra’s free telepsychiatry they will have to do an intake with a UWRF Counselor first to get the needed referral (directions below as well). Sign Up for Mantra on Your Own

To sign up on your own for tele-therapy only, here is a step-by-step guide:

1. Sign up for Mantra by going to app.mantrahealth.com.
2. Create your account and Sign In using your UW email address.
3. Complete the onboarding tasks in your Patient Portal, which takes about 10 minutes, and schedule your first appointment. Be sure to do this before your appointment!
4. Join your first scheduled appointment with your therapist through the Mantra Patient Portal.

Sign Up for Mantra with a Referral from UWRF Counseling

To get a referral for individual tele-therapy or telepsychiatry through UWRF Counseling.

1. To make an appointment call our front desk at 715-425-3884 or email counselingservices@uwrf.edu.
2. Your treatment needs will be assessed. If Mantra tele-therapy and/or tele-psychiatry is the right option for you, you will be referred by someone on campus who will lead you through the steps to schedule your first appointment.  Very straight forward process.
