Student Conduct

Student Conduct

The UW-System and its schools expect that students demonstrate appropriate behavior and follow state and federal laws. UWS Administrative Conduct Code Chapter 17 & 18 are polices that all students are expected to follow while enrolled as a student of the UW-System. These policies apply to student's behavior both on and off campus; with each institution adjudicating student behavioral issues through the institution's university conduct process.

At the University of Wisconsin-River Falls; the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards (SCCS) is responsible for administering UWS Administrative Code Chapter 17 & 18 for behavior exhibited by UWRF students both on and off campus. In doing so; SCCS seeks to:

  • Inform students and the campus community about the student code of conduct polices and procedures.
  • Educate students about their rights and responsibilities as a student of the UW System.
  • Educate the campus community about academic integrity, citizenship development, and conflict resolution.
