Student Conduct & Community Standards

promotes student awareness and understanding of their rights and responsibilities as university community members by:

  • Addressing student conduct issues
  • Creating developmental learning opportunities
  • Engaging students in ethical decision-making

Fosters Student Growth by:

  • Administering the UW System student conduct code, Chapter 17, that governs on and off-campus student conduct
  • Receiving, responding to, and investigating complaints about student behavior on and off-campus
  • Assisting with university medical withdrawals; referring students to on and off-campus services
  • Coordinating the Behavioral Intervention Team (B.I.T.)
  • Advocating for students
