Residence Life

Johnson Hall

Johnson is located on the west side of campus and houses approximately 300 students. Students of any age are eligible to live in Johnson hall.

Johnson hall is co-ed by room. Two men may live next door to two women. On floors that are co-ed, there is one community bathroom for women and one community bathroom for men.

Nearby, students will find parking lot E and K, a sand volleyball court, a large lawn, campus trails, the Falcon Center, and downtown River Falls. The hall is named after former Professor Arthur N. Johnson.

Living & Learning Communities

Gender Inclusive Community: The Gender Inclusive Community provides flexibility to accommodate gender identity, expression, sexual orientation, and cultural needs of students. The Gender Inclusive Community is a housing option in which two students share a room regardless of students’ sex, gender identity or gender expression. This means that students can live in the same room with a person of a different assigned sex at birth. The community bathrooms in this community are gender neutral.

Honors Community: This community is for students enrolled in the Honors Program and their roommates. Students in the Honors Program represent a variety of academic majors and all residents are dedicated to being engaged, intellectual students.
