VPN stands for Virtual Private Network. Your device needs to be logged into the UWRF VPN in order to access your entire array of resources (the T: drive for example).

Technology Services recommends connecting to VPN once a week for 4 hours to continue to operate in an effective manner while working remote.

Review this resource about VPN.

Ensure you are connected to VPN.

All users can log into Falcon Share files.uwrf.edu

Windows users can map the T: drive.

Some providers are allowing free internet access for a limited period of time. Find out more.

In addition, drive-in WiFi is available to UWRF faculty, staff, and students. Log into WiFi via Eduroam using your UWRF email and password in Pay Lot 1 west of North Hall. Stay in your vehicle and observe social distancing.

If you are not in the River Falls area, there are places with Eduroam service worldwide. A map of locations can be found at https://monitor.eduroam.org/map_service_loc.php  Each institution may, or may not, have parking lot access. Contact the institution in your area to verify if they have this service and what that institution's process is for parking lot access. You will need to log-in to the Eduroam network with your UWRF email address and password, not your W number.
