All in person events are cancelled until May 8 but many offices are hosting Virtual Events. Be sure to check out our campus calendar to see the events that have been cancelled, and those that are now VIRTUAL.

While in-person fitness classes are cancelled, you can still join us virtually. Follow @uwrfrec on both Instagram and UW-River Falls on Facebook.  They are offering 2 live workouts with Sonja called “LIVE @ 5 p.m. CST on Monday and Wednesday evenings 

Student Involvement has created a Virtual Involvement Center to keep you connected while you are away.

UWRF has cancelled study abroad programs through summer 2020. In addition, the Study Abroad in Europe program is cancelled for fall 2020 in recognition of the detailed on-site arrangements that students and the program leader must make in advance for this program. Yes! Office hours will be listed on our website ( and updated on our social media accounts (@uwrfinclusivity) or or contact the president of the organization direction. You can always see the 150 student orgs that are offered by visiting this webpage

Yes. They meet every Tuesday at 7pm. Meetings will be posted on their Facebook page and in the SGA page of the Virtual IC. Anyone is able to view the meetings.

Elections will be conducted online through FalconSync on April 16 – 18. Links to the ballots will be emailed to all students. The link will also be published in the SGA Instagram bio. (@uwrfsga)

Yes, if they are held virtually. Although face-to-face events and meetings have been canceled this semester, we are encouraging Student Organizations to host virtual events or gather in virtual activities already happening. Yes. For assistance in requesting a payment or a reallocation from your organization’s approved annual or single-event budget, please see one of the below how-to guides. PLEASE NOTE:  if a student organization is hosting an event, the event must be held virtually. Also, since travel is prohibited by UWRF at this time, students are not allowed to spend their allocated dollars on travel.

No, funds from 19-20 Annual Budgets will not roll over to the next academic year. The last day to spend your funds or seek reimbursement from your 19-20 Annual Budget will be May 8, 2020. Payment requests for single-events must be requested no later than 60 days after the date of your event (with May 8th being the final date to request reimbursement). There will also be single-event funding available when Fall semester 2020 begins and we encourage student organizations to utilize this option. Please reach out to with any additional questions. 

Yes. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Office of Student Involvement will make exceptions for organizations that are not active or do not meet during this time. Student Involvement will not be "deactivating" any Student Organization for not meeting during this time.
