Parking Announcement

**Note: Effective April 27, 2015; Visa cards will no longer be accepted. Discover Card and Master Card payments will incur a convenience fee of 2.5%. Echeck payments will incur a convenience fee of $1.75. The convenience fee will be charged to your credit card or echeck payment.

Payments of cash or check are accepted over the counter a Regional Development Institute 103 during business hours. Office hours are M-F 7:45am - 4:30pm.

Student Parking Information

  • Parking lots are identified with a sign at each entrance including the lot name and permit type required.
  • Parking enforcement times/locations can be found at Parking Enforcement.
  • Displaying a permit authorizes parking only in the specific location listed on the permit. Student permits for O, E, N, and K lots are also valid in PAY3. Purchasing a permit does not guarrentee a space.
  • Ownership of the parking permit remains with UWRF. Resale or transfer of permit is prohibited. Use of permit by anyone other than the registered purchaser may result in a fine, revocation, confiscation, and prosecution for theft under 943.2(1)(a), Wis. State Statues or UWS 18.05.
  • The registered permit holder is responsible for any parking violations issued to the vehicle bearing the permit.
  • Student permits are valid from August 1st thru the following year August 31st. (see expiration date stated on the permit.)
  • 2018-2019: O, E, K, N, PAY3-24 permit price is $333. PAY3-CM permit price is $142.
  • Completing the purchase process does not guarentee you a permit as they are issued based on availablitity.
  • A Student parking permit returned prior to September 1st is subject to a $25.00 administrative fee. Student parking permits are non-refundable after February 10th. Please see Parking Refund Policy for details.
  • Any student or visitor can utilize Public Parking.
  • If your desired location is sold out or there are no more permits available for sale, you can place yourself on a waitlist providing you are eligitble for the lot choice. Waitlists are only satisfied if a permit becomes available. The waitlist start date will be determined and announced at such time.

What are My Options?

I live in a residential hall.

A university residential student can purchase a university permit, utilize public parking, or park on the city streets. 

Parking permits available for residential students are:

  • Locations requiring a housing contract: E, K, N, O. Location with or without a signed housing contract: PAY3(24).
  • If you do not have a signed housing contract by July 15th E, K, N, and O permits will be exchanged to a PAY3(24) permit.
  • Completing the purchase process does not guarentee you a permit as they are issued based on availability.
  • OVT - Temporary parking permits are available for a daily rate, including overnight. (You must print and display the permit) These can also be purchased for your visitors. Valid in location listed on the permit only. Location may vary. For additional information please see: Public Parking.
  • Permits for E, K, N, O lots must be returned to University Parking if you move off campus before the academic year is completed.

I live off campus

Non-Residential Students (any student that lives off campus) can choose to purchase a permit, utilize a university meter or city street parking. For additional information please see: Public Parking

Permit:

  • Non-Residential Students Parking Lot: PAY3
    • PAY3(CM) is valid from 7:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. with no parking overnight.
    • PAY3(24) is valid 24 hours a day including overnight.
  • Completing the purchase process does not guarentee you a permit as they are issued based on availability.
  • OVT - Temporary parking permits are available for a daily rate, including overnight. (You must print and display this permit) These permits can also be purchased for your visitors. Valid in the location listed on the permit. For additional information please see: Public Parking

When Can I Purchase A Permit?

Permits will be sold on a first come first serve basis, based on seniority. Please see chart. Completing the process does not fuarantee you a permit as they are issued based on availability.

How do I get my permit?

Student permit spaces are enforced daily throughout the year. Please contact the Parking Office with questions @ 715-425-3333.

RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS

Permits purchased prior to 11:59pm, August 1st:
Your parking permit will be mailed to your mailing/home address listed in eSIS. 

Permits purchased as of 12am, August 10th  thru 7am, September 4:
Your permit will be available for pickup September 4th in Regional Development Institute 103 during office hours. Photo ID or Falcon ID required to claim your permit. Display your parking permit by 7pm September 4th.

Permits purchased after 7am, September 4:
Your permit will be available for pickup on September 4th, 5th, 6th (Tue-Thur) in the parking office at Regional Development Institute 103. Photo ID or Falcon ID required to claim your permit.

Parking Office Hours: 7:45am-4:30pm.

 

NON-RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS

 

Permits purchased prior to 11:59, August 28th:
Your parking permit will be mailed to your mailing/home address listed in eSIS. 

Permits purchased as of 12am, August 28th:
Your permit will be available for pickup on September 4th, 5th, 6th (Tue-Thur) in the parking office at Regional Development Institute 103. Photo ID or Falcon ID required to claim your permit.

Parking Office Hours: 7:45am-4:30pm.

 

September Enforcement

Student permit spaces are enforced daily throught the year. Please contact the Parking Office with questions @ 715-425-3333.

Any campus visitor, student, or parent can utilized the Public Parking.
