UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
Registration for the 2020 Science Olympiad is closed.
We look forward to welcoming all of the participating teams on January 25, 2020!
Please contact Earl Blodgett for more information. No further fee payments will be accepted unless Earl Blodgett has been notified. Thank you.
(UW-River Falls reserves the right to restrict the total number of teams based on available space; admission is on a first-come, first-serve basis up to approximately 60 teams.) In order to accommodate more schools, we are limiting all schools to two teams per school, one varsity and one non-varsity.
Coaches should go to the University Center lobby upon arrival the morning of the competition. We will have a check-in table there and we will have people available to assist you with any final questions about events or scheduling.
*Homerooms will be available any time after 7:30 AM.
*Impound opens at 8:45 AM and closes at 9:30 AM.
Did you forget to print out something vital? Coaches can do a limited amount of emergency printing in Centennial Science Hall (CSH), Room #102.
Competition begins promptly at 9:30 AM. There will be six competition periods, each lasting 50 minutes. This allows 10 minutes travel time between events, which is the time allowed between courses for students at UWRF.
The University Center (UC), Centennial Science Hall (CSH), Hagestad Hall and the Agricultural Science Building (AGS) are close together and 10 minutes should be adequate.
*NOTE - There are events scheduled in the Falcon Center athletics and recreation building on the south side of campus. **Please allow up to 20 minutes to walk to the Falcon Center.
The Awards Ceremony will be in the University Center Ballroom and will begin as close to 4:15 PM as possible.
