UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
The following information explains the Residual Placement Testing Program at UW-River Falls. Residual Placement Testing dates in January, June, July, and August are only open to new UWRF students. These tests are your next step in the enrollment process and are required for all new UWRF students who did not complete the UW Placement Tests during the Regional Testing Program.
The Residual Placement Tests are held in the University Center Ballroom on the UWRF campus.
Residual Placement Tests are held at UWRF in January for students starting in the Spring Semester and in June, July, and August for students starting in the Fall Semester.
You should report to the University Center Ballroom at least 15 minutes prior to your first test. The schedule for the Residual Testing Program is below:
There is no sign up required for the Residual Placement Testing Program dates. Simply show up and test with us!
You should bring a photo ID (driver's license, passport, high school student ID, etc.) and a non-graphing calculator if you're planning to take the math test. Students will not be allowed to test without a photo ID.
You may park for free in any legal space in Pay 1 Lot (next to North Hall) by displaying the proper temporary parking permit.

If you are able to take the Placement Test in the spring, please take the time to sign up! If you're unable to attend any of the dates listed on the sign up web site, these Residual Testing Program dates are available to you as a new UWRF student.
