Student Leadership & Employment

Be You. Be an OTL.

New Student and Family Programs values the leadership development of all students. As experts in orientation and transition experiences, we know that students who are involved on campus are more likely to be successful academically and continue on to graduation. NSFP is proud to offer rewarding employment experiences for continuing students to connect closer with the UWRF community beginning as early as their first year on campus.

Whether you are excited to welcome new students to the Falcon Family or to get experiences that will help you grow as a leader on campus, NSFP has opportunities for you while helping others be successful students at UW-River Falls.

New Student Registration Orientation and Transition Leader

(NSR OTL)

You know them by their classic red polos, white pants, and enthusiasm early in the morning from your first day on campus! New Student Registration OTLs work with new students and their families to affirm their decision to attend UWRF, help students register for classes, connect with other students, and feel like UWRF is their home.

Applications to be a New Student Registration OTL will open in February 2021. If you would like us to contact you when the application opens, please email us at nsfp@uwrf.edu!
