As you may be aware, we are required to provide follow-up date to the U.S. Department of Education on all current and former participants in the McNair Scholars Program. The extent to which we can collect this information from you and other McNair Scholars is imperative to the existence of the program in the future.
Please take a few minutes to provide us with the following information and any other pertinent facts about your status that you feel may be beneficial to us.
The University of Wisconsin River-Falls McNair Scholars Program is designed to assist its participants in gaining admission to graduate programs leading to the doctorate. the program, which targets low-income and first-generation students, and members of groups that are under-represented in graduate education, is funded by the U.S. Department of Education through its Office of Federal TRIO Programs. The University of Wisconsin-River Falls McNair Scholars Programs has served 147 students since 1999.
Many of our former scholars are currently pursuing a graduate education -- they are well on their way to earning master and doctoral degrees. The following is a brief list of some of our most successful scholars.
