All UW-River Falls faculty and staff may use this service.
You may request an item that is currently available in the Chalmer Davee Library to be delivered to your office. Such items will have the status "Not Checked Out."
Deliveries go out twice a day between the hours of 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday during the fall and spring semesters, and once a day at 9:30 a.m. during break days, summer and J Term semesters.
The library will make two attempts to deliver your items to you; after two attempts the items will be placed on the hold shelf for seven days. You will receive an e-mail stating they have been moved with the expectation that you will be picking the items up at the circulation desk. If you have not picked up your items in the seven days the hold will be removed and the items will be shelved.
We will not leave the checked out library items with anyone or anyplace other than to you, your mailbox, or your office unless otherwise noted on the request.
If an item you would like to request has a status of "Checked Out," "In Transit," or "Overdue," it cannot be checked out; however, you can place a hold on the item instead. When the item becomes available you will notified via e-mail and the item will be held for you at the circulation desk for seven days.
Reference materials, journals, magazines, newspapers, maps, reserve materials and select government documents are not available for this service.
Items received through interlibrary loan and UW Libraries Request will still be held at the circulation desk for pick up.
