Request a Hold for a Physical Item

This academic year 2020-2021, the third floor is closed, and there is no access to the book stacks on that level. Using Search@UW, you can place a hold on an item, and staff will retrieve it for you and place it on our patron hold shelf. Staff will notify you via your UWRF email address when the item is ready. See How to Request a Hold for a Physical Library Item for detailed instructions.

Bookable Study Rooms

Our Audiovisual Rooms/Study Rooms on the main floor of the library are available by reservation. You can reserve a study room here. For healthy and safety purposes, the maximum occupancy of each study room is limited to one person. We are unable to provide whiteboard markers, so bring your own if they are needed. Please check in at the library front desk when you arrive for your reservation. If you have any questions, email
