The City of River Falls is located approximately 30 miles east of the Minneapolis / St. Paul area. River Falls was chosen as a 'dreamtown' by Demographics Daily, a division of American City Business Journals. The city has an estimated population of 14,015 people and approximately 6,400 college students.

The River Falls Public School District consists of eight schools serving approximately 3,050 students. River Falls is home to many different places of worship. The city has excellent health care services including the River Falls Area Hospital and Medical Clinic and River Falls Area Ambulance Service. There are superb public facilities including a recently built public library and senior high school. The city offers a growing industrial park and vibrant downtown area.
