Dennis Biddle

Hear stories about Negro League Baseball and its place in American sports history. Negro League Baseball, and the social climate after World War II, set the stage for Jackie Robinson to break baseball's color barrier. Robinson played his first game for the Brooklyn Dodgers on April 15, 1947. Other Negro League stars like Roy Campanella, Don Newcombe, and Satchel Paige, soon follow Robinson into the major leagues.

Dennis Biddle pitched for the Negro League Chicago American Giants. And, was nicknamed "The Man Who Beat The Man Who Beat The Man." His promising career ended in 1954 after a training camp injury. today, Biddle shares his story and the story of America's Negro League Baseball. If you love baseball and/or history, don't miss it!
