Derek Bradley has worked in higher education for the last 4 years and brings a wealth of knowledge from his non-profit experience. Derek is from San Bernardino, California and has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, with a minor in Sociology from Sonoma State University; a Master of Arts in Education with a focus in Higher Educational Leadership & Policy Studies from California State University, Sacramento; and is currently pursuing his Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from California State University, Sacramento.


Derek’s philosophy is helping students develop into well-rounded individuals by assisting their development of competence, purpose, and independence. Derek believes collaborative relationships with staff and faculty can enhance the student academic experience, but also their development as a person. Derek wants to instill confidence in his students that they can thrive in this environment and uncover their strengths to achieve academic success.


Derek enjoys attending concerts and sporting events. Derek is a die-hard fan of the Lakers and Packers. Derek also has a 7-month Chocolate lab that keeps him quite busy and entertained. When Derek is not studying or attending a concert or sports event, you can find Derek doing something active, whether it’s a hike or working out.

Alan Toussaint is a new professional within higher education and has a lot of passion for working with diverse students and advocating for inclusion in various spaces. Alan is originally from Tampa, Florida and has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of South Florida; he is currently finishing up his Master of Arts in English and Rhetoric at St. Cloud State University.

Alan is passionate in providing inclusive spaces for marginalized and underrepresented students. Specifically working with the LGBTQIA+ population, he wants to collaborate with organizations and individuals to know about programming and other resources for students, staff, and faculty to thrive in an ever-changing environment.

Alan enjoys the outdoors and usually heads over to the various state parks to hike in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Alan is also an avid sci-fi fanatic, music enthusiast and Dungeon and Dragons player.
