The mission of the Office of Human Resources is to support the University of Wisconsin-River Falls as a comprehensive university. The Department of Labor (DOL) recently announced an increase of the minimum salary threshold for overtime eligibility. The threshold will increase from $23,660 to $47,476 per year, or $455 to $913 a week and goes into effect December 1, 2016. UWRF and UW System Human Resources are analyzing the details and impacts of the new rule and formulating a plan to implement it prior to December. HR will reach out to division and department management in the coming weeks, and communicate with affected employees later this summer/fall.
