The University of Wisconsin-River Falls, a member of the University of Wisconsin System, is located 30 miles from the Twin Cities of Minneapolis-St. Paul in scenic west central Wisconsin. Year around arts, cultural and recreational events are easily accessible. UWRF’s  6,500 undergraduate and graduate students pursue degrees in four colleges: Arts and Sciences; Education and Professional Studies; Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Science; and Business and Economics. The University provides an excellent environment for learning, emphasizing the importance of faculty-student interaction in classrooms, laboratories, academic advising and co-curricular activities. The Position:  This position plays an important role in the implementation of the University’s institutional marketing. The successful candidate will join an experienced Admissions Staff in reaching out to prospective students and their families with information about the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.

Specific Responsibilities
•Develop, define carry-out and monitor a recruitment plan for the recruitment and admission of international students to UW-River Falls.
•Advise prospective international students of admission requirements, policies and enrollment procedures
•Act as lead file reviewer for international applicants by following established policies and procedures.
•Work with International Student Services advisor and English Language Transition Director during beginning of term arrival and orientation activities.
•Represent the University during individual campus visits by students and families; as well as at high school and education fairs.

Qualifications (Required)
•Education: Bachelor's degree required
•A minimum of one year experience in higher education
•Currently have or be able to obtain a valid Driver’s License prior to employment
•Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to diverse student populations and ability to contribute to the University’s commitment to enhancing student awareness and appreciation of diverse ethnic and cultural heritages.

Qualifications (Preferred):
•Education: Master's degree preferred
•Previous experience working with international recruitment.
•Previous experience working in Admissions/Marketing
