UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
The Falcon Center has fulfilled a decades-long dream and will be the hallmark of UWRF's athletics and wellness programs. The new and upgraded facility more than doubles the size of the current Hunt and Knowles complex. The renovation of Hunt Arena was completed in time for the 2016-17 men's and women's hockey season and the Don Page Arena will open this fall!
The Karges Athletic Center, built in 1959, has served its purpose through the years. It closed in style by hosting the first and second round of the 2017 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament.
The official grand opening of the Falcon Center is September 21, 2017, and we hope you will join us. As a way for past Falcons to support future Falcons, we are offering you the opportunity to participate in the Falcon Center Locker Campaign.
Lockers in specific sports are limited and available on a first come, first serve basis. After all lockers are named, additional contributions will be recognized on a donor wall in the sport's locker room. Sponsor your locker by completing the gift/pledge form and return to the UWRF Foundation no later than May 31, 2017.
Recruit and Retain: Discerning students and parents expect to see modern and contemporary facilities when visiting prospective colleges. Without them, students often go elsewhere.
The Best in Facilities: New team locker rooms feature modern technology and amenities. They will serve as spaces for team meetings and film review. They will be among the very best facilities in NCAA Division III.
Show Your Falcon Pride: Each locker will have a plaque with your name inscribed showing current and future student-athletes that you support them as they represent UW-River Falls.
Support the Sport of Your Choice: With each sponsored locker, half of the gift will go to the individual sport program to support their operations and half will fund the university's private fundraising commitment.
