An independent, not-for-profit Wisconsin corporation, the UW-River Falls Foundation is organized solely for the benefit of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Private giving to the Foundation is essential in raising the level of excellence at the university. Through support of the university’s goals and objectives, the Foundation is committed to engaging people who care about the university, and who have the dedication to promote and support its initiatives. The Foundation manages funds according to the wishes of the donors, promotes a culture of philanthropy, and adheres to the ethical and conscientious stewardship of all gifts.

Foundation President Search

The UW-River Falls Foundation is seeking a Foundation President.

The Foundation President serves as the Chief Operating Officer and reports to the Foundation Board's Executive Committee. The UWRF Foundation is a separate legal entity from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and exists solely to support the university through the management and disbursement of private gifts.

Among the President’s key duties are:  drive the Foundation’s mission for long-term endowment growth providing increased support for UWRF’s students, faculty and facility improvements.  Serve as the Foundation's primary staff resource for the Investment Committee and as the day-to-day manager of its retained investment managers. Lead the annual review of investment manager performance.  Be a resource to University Advancement for donor recruitment and retention. Hire and supervise staff, to receive, manage and disperse funds of the Foundation consistent with Board policy, donor wishes and the strategic initiatives of the University. Develop and manage the Foundation's annual budget.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in investments, finance, and non-profit organizations. A full job description is available here.
