Her research interests center on instrumental snowfall trends in the Upper Midwestern US, climate governing ocean-atmospheric patterns, and the socio-economic and environmental implications of a shifting climate system and human-environment interactions.
In her free time, Ruth Baker enjoys baking, gardening, the Minnesota Vikings, and natural disaster movies.
