Warren Johnson began his teaching career in 1981, teaching English and Speech Communications at Hastings Junior High School, in Hastings, MN. He was Assistant Coach of the Speech Team for 3 years there. Johnson was then hired by Ellsworth High School, Ellsworth, WI, where he has taught English and Speech Communications, as well as Mass Communications for 29 years. Johnson was also Ellsworth's Speech Team Head Coach, a team which has membership with the WHSFA. He achieved his Master's Degree in Speech Communications in 1990, and has since taught for the Speech Communications Department at UWRF, teaching both Fundamentals of Speech Communication and Business and Professional Communication. Warren and his wife, Joyann, have three adult children. He loves the 4 seasons the upper Midwest offers, and he enjoys camping and traveling as well.
