Internship Opportunities

The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Psychology Department actively seeks ways to improve the educational experience for students by developing partnerships with numerous businesses and health and human service organizations. 

Students wishing to participate in an internship should register for 1-3 credits of Psychology 379 (Internship), which will require 50-150 hours of work over the course of a semester. 

Most internships are unpaid, however, they will provide you with significant opportunity to gain experience under the supervision of a qualified professional.

Requirements for Internship Participation:

  • Must be a psychology major
  • Must have completed 60 semester credit hours (minimum of 20 in psychology)
  • Must have earned overall GPA of at least 2.5 and obtain the consent of the department supervisor
  • Must completed an Internship Placement Agreement form
