Details: This course will focus on facilitating inquiry learning and connecting young children to nature. Strategies will be explored to help learners explore nature using science, social studies, math, literacy, movement and the arts. Specific attention will be paid to developing observation skills and encouraging critical and creative thinking, problem-solving and collaborative learning. Field experience in a school setting is required for this course. Prerequisite: EC Major or program consent
