Details: This course covers the modern theory and practice of financial management. Topics covered include: Application of financial ratio analysis, review of the time value of money, basic principles of risk and return, financial forecasting, debt and equity valuation, capital budgeting and cost of capital, capital structure and dividend theory, and firm valuation from a value-based management and corporate governance perspective. Prerequisite: Admission to the MBA program.
