| Details: This course examines various types of assistive technologies, including augmentative and alternative communications (AAC) systems, in special education contexts. This course introduces candidates various assistive
technology devices, used as accommodations in individual education plans (IEPs) to support student learning and communication. The course also emphasizes the evaluation of the effectiveness of assistive technology in special education contexts.
