Virtual Personal Statement Roundtable Review

Are you considering graduate school and looking for feedback on your personal statement? Register for Career Service’s Personal Statement Roundtable Review. During this event, you’ll register for a 30-minute timeslot where a career services staff member, faculty member, or graduate school representative will review your personal statement and offer you feedback for improvement.

Before registering for this event:

2. View the Personal Statement Checklist to ensure your statement is well polished

3. Register for a 30-minute timeslot at the Personal Statement Roundtable Review with the registration instructions below. 

Registration Instructions

1. Log into your Handshake account via the "Current Students" tab on the following page using your W# and university password: https://www.uwrf.edu/CareerServices/HandshakeLogin.cfm

2. Click on the "Jobs" tab at the top of the page and then "On-Campus Interviews"

3. Click on "UWRF-Career Services - Virtual Graduate School Personal Statement Roundtable Review" in the middle of your screen. 

4. Click "Graduate School Personal Statement Roundtable Review" under "Related Jobs" in the middle of your screen

5. Click the blue "Quick Apply" button in the right corner of your screen

6. Answer any questions if prompted by Handshake. You will be required to upload a copy of your personal statement. IMPORTANT: Please name your document using the first name-last name- personal statement format

7. Once you have uploaded your personal statement, simply click the green "Submit Application" button

7. IMPORTANT: Please wait a moment as the page refreshes. You should now see a list of all available time slots. Select "Take Slot" button for a corresponding time that works for you. Please only select one. 

8. Be sure to record your time slot and the location of the event as attendance is required once you sign up!
