About Internships at UWRF

An internship is a carefully monitored work experience in which a student has intentional learning goals that enable him or her to apply their classroom knowledge to the workplace.

  • Interns typically receive compensation for their contributions.
  • Internships are part of UWRF's educational program, and are carefully monitored and evaluated for academic credit. An essential aspect that distinguishes an internship from a short-term job is that learning goals and objectives are structured into the experience.

First Point of Contact

UWRF Career Services is your first point of contact for information on internships at UWRF. Career Services will connect you to UWRF college internship coordinators and resources.

Posting Your Internships to UWRF Students

Internships are coordinated and approved uniquely in each college at UWRF. Submit your internships to Hire-a-Falcon and your internship will be posted to the online system for students to view.
