UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
Career Services will no longer host the Opportunity Fair. This event will now be the Involvement and On-Campus Job Fair, of which student organizations and on-campus departments may participate. Employers offering part-time, local, seasonal, or volunteer opportunities are encouraged to remain involved on campus in the following ways:
1. Posting positions in Handshake: Handshake is UWRF's online recruitment platform where you can post positions (jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities) for 24/7 student and alumni viewing, as well as register for on-campus recruiting events.
2. Attending the Career Fair (Fall and Spring): The next Career Fair is scheduled on Tuesday, October 8th and Wednesday, October 9th from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Registration is open and additional event information is posted on the Career Fair website. This event is targeted towards internship and full-time opportunities for students. Please review our event registration policies as well.
3. Tabling in the University Center: Tabling in the University Center is free and provides employers an opportunity to conduct outreach and provide information about careers at your organization. Please submit requests at least two weeks prior to when you would like to table on campus. Reserving a table for the purpose of sales is prohibited, and tabling is not available during finals week or academic year breaks. Visit the Career Services' Employer page for additional recruiting strategies and the tabling registration.
4. Presenting to Student Organizations: Connect with appropriate student groups on-campus by contacting the student president and/or faculty
