Computer Lab Resources

Digital Sender:  Efficiently email your multi-page color or black and white hardcopy documents to yourself electronically in .PDF format. Ideal for electronic portfolios.

Scanner: Scan photos and documents. Scan then fill-in hardcopy employment application forms with typed text using Adobe Photoshop or Fireworks, then print a laser copy.

Career Software

Hire-a-Falcon System Find on and off-campus jobs, request a resume critique, receive email job lists using the Job Agent feature, and sign-up for interviews on-campus.

GoingGlobal Uncover hidden employment opportunities overseas and access culture-specific tips for job searching and interviewing in other countries. Use City Guides to research cities in the US local job resources in those cities. You may create an account while on-campus to receive off-campus access.

Chronicle Occupational Briefs View a comprehensive list of job titles and in-depth description of the job, qualifications, work conditions, education path, etc... Access anywhere on-campus, or UWRF students and alumni may contact Career Services for a username and password for off-campus access.

WISCareers Research Wisconsin-specific career and employment information, or explore national university and academic information. Included are built-in Assessment modules which help individuals narrow and match their interests and skills with jobs that may best suit them.
