UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
Sport Clubs at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls are student-run organizations open to any current UWRF student. Each organization is completely run and organized by the elected student officers in cooperation with the Assistant Director of Recreation.
Sport Clubs join a state, regional, or national affiliation and travel to compete against other university clubs and organizations. They do not have as much committement as the varsity athletic programs, but still practice 2-3 times per week with contest typically taking place on weekends. Each club is in-charge of their own budget, fundraising, hosting of home events, and roster. The Competitive Sports Coordinator serves as an advisor to help club officers with decisions, travel logistics, and home contest logistics.
These websites will give you a general overview of the Sport Clubs. For information specific to the club, direct contact information, and updates directly from the current officers, visit Falcons Connect.
