Event Registration

All registration for the Falcon Indoor Triathlon will take place online through the UWRF Campus Recreation website.  During registration, participants may select a prefered time-frame (8:00am-10:00am, 10:00am-12:00pm, or 12:00pm-2:00pm) and indicate up to three participants to be matched up with in the same heat.  Participants will be assigned to a heat within the prefered time-frame indicated during registration.

Event Setup

Heats of up to six participants will start at 8:00am.  Every 20 minutes, another heat will begin as participants move from one event to the next.  The total race time from start to finish for each participant is 60 minutes.  Participants do not need to be at the event prior to the start of their heat nor remain at the event after their heat has ended.

Each participant will have a volunteer to help record the distance traveled within the allocated time.  Machines used will be the Matrix Rower and IC7 Bike.  Running will take place around the 200M indoor track.

Scoring System

Each participant will complete as much distance or average the highest watts as possible within the time allocation for each leg of the race.  The total watts accumulated on the rower as well as the total distance traveled on the bike and during the run will equate to a point system based on all other finishers of the race.

  • The participant with the highest average watts on the rower will receive 1 point, the participant in second place will receive 2 points, etc.
  • The participant who bikes the farthest will receive 1 point, the participant in second place will receive 2 points, etc.
  • The participant who runs the farthest will receive 1 point, the participant in second place will receive 2 points, etc.

At the end of the race, the person with the fewest points will be declared the winner.
