University Theatre Box Office

Box office clerks work at the direction of the office manager.  Hours are fixed around performances and include some daytime and/or some early evenings for each run.

These job descriptions are intended to give you an idea of the types of tasks that may be asked of you.  As each event is unique, so may be what is required of you.  Please discuss your special talents or concerns with the supervisor who interviews you.  These are  project-based positions and your working hours may be flexible or fixed.  You will discuss hours with the supervisor during your interview. 

Students with full-time academic schedules are not expected to work more than 20 hours/week while classes are in session or 40 hours/week during breaks (if at all).  THERE IS NO OVERTIME.              

How much you will be paid depends on your experience, availability and dependability.   Lump Sum wages range from $150 - $350 per show.   Hourly wages start at $7.25/hour for new employees.   Discuss wages during your interview.
