UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
Our world-class faculty and staff are a dedicated group of individuals who are skilled at preparing ethical, reflective practitioners who want to serve others. Our programs are recognized for their emphasis on integrating theory with practice, internships in the real world, and several are nationally accredited.
The Walker D. Wyman Education Building is our home of professional service majors: Teacher Education, Communication Science & Disorders, Health & Human Performance, Social Work, and graduate programs in Counseling & School Psychology. At its hub is a large, open Educational Technology Center, surrounded by twelve glass-walled technology enhanced classrooms. Our Speech-Language, and Hearing Clinic provides services to area children and adults with a variety of communication disorders. We are the only public university in the country with a Montessori graduate program for elementary education, and one of only two universities to offer a graduate-level Montessori program in early childhood education. Our innovative STEMteach program, along with our other continuing education options, provides adult-learners the opportunity to learn new skills and broaden the ones they already have. The College is also home to the University Preschool.
We reach out to the community by sponsoring events such as the University Health Fair and the Turkey Trot 5K run/walk, as well as by providing tutoring and hearing screenings to students in region schools. All departments and programs have student organizations.
At CEPS, we value our relationships with our students, partners, alumni and community members. Please stop by and visit our campus in person.
