This is it! - An Awesome Year Has Come to an End9 months, 11 classes and loads of fun and unforgettable impressions later I’ve come to a point where I can say that I have earned a Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. What a great feeling! |

One Last Trip – Visiting the Big AppleMy last couple of weeks in River Falls and therefore at UWRF have come and visiting New York City was the last wish on my bucket list for this stay in the U.S. |

The City of River FallsAfter spending almost 7 months in River Falls I realized that I never really wrote about the city itself. So, it´s definitely time to share some of my impressions and time for a little review of what is going on in the city and what you can do here in your free time. |

Is This Supposed to be Spring?March is almost over and so there are only about seven weeks left for me in River Falls. March in Germany is the month when some trees start to flourish, and everything becomes at least little bit greener outdoors. Well, not in River Falls I guess. |

Spring Break in CaliforniaIt has been awhile since my last blog I know but there was a good reason for that. The reason was spring break! It is known around the globe for great parties and the main destinations to go to are Florida and Mexico I guess. It´s a really big thing here! |

African Night 2018Another great week in River Falls is over and it just does not get boring. One event follows the other and so there is always something to do. |

Making Some Good ConnectionsMy last weeks have been full of different possibilities to make some good and especially valuable connections in different terms. As mentioned previously I am trying to get connected in all different ways on and off campus and the last weeks have been full of chances to do so. |

Skiing at Afton AlpsAnother great way to spend some time around River Falls in winter time is Skiing. A small ski resort called the Afton Alps is nearby and as we had quite a bit of snow in the last couple of weeks the conditions were perfect. |

Super Bowl LII 2018Last Sunday the Super Bowl LII 2018 took place in Minneapolis. What an awesome event! The New England Patriots faced the Philadelphia Eagles in the brand-new US Bank Stadium and up to 1 million people were expected to visit the cities. |

A Typical Day in the Life of a Full-time MBA StudentPeople keep asking me about my average day as a full-time MBA candidate and they even wonder if I get bored on campus because all my classes are taking place in the evening. To cut a long story short: I absolutely don´t get bored and there is always something to do for classes or other on- and off-campus activities. |

It´s Time for a Fresh StartBreak is over, and it is time for my second semester at UWRF to start. It has been a break of about four weeks and I really enjoyed the time as it was exactly what I needed. |

IMS – International Motorcycle ShowLast weekend I went to the International Motorcycle Show in Minneapolis which is the world´s largest consumer motorcycle show tour. |

I Love Hockey!!!Yesterday I went to the first ice hockey game in my life and I loved it! The sport is so fast, intense and entertaining. The game was part of an on-campus event called the Freeze Fest. |

Heading Down South for ThanksgivingAs mentioned in my last blog thanksgiving was right ahead of us and so there was a six-day break for me that I really wanted to use to do some traveling as it is the longest break during the semester and the last one before Christmas. |

Chicago – The Windy CityIt has been road trippin` weekend again! Our destination was Chicago this time which is about 380 miles away from River Falls. It is definitely not a stone´s throw but it is absolutely worth every single mile you drive. |

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Oklahoma City ThunderLast weekend I went to my first NBA game ever and it was a great event! I have no idea of basketball and most of the other traditional American sports, but I really wanted to make sure that I experience a good game and it was absolutely worth it. What is Living On-Campus Like?The decision between staying on- or off-campus was one of the major ones for me after being admitted to the MBA program at UWRF. Of course, both has advantages and disadvantages and after staying on-campus for quite a while and making a lot experiences I think it´s time for a first review. |

It was on October 26th, 2016 when the Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz hosted a roadshow for the UWRF.
