UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
Join us in making more memories with your alma mater! All alumni and friends are welcome! Find events and activities that interest you to stay connected, celebrate your Falcon pride and network with other alums.
Our final 2023 book club will feature William Kent Krueger’s, “Iron Lake.” We will be taking a new twist on the discussion using this book as the lead but delving into mystery books/authors as a whole. Think: “Murder Mysteries on Trial.”
We encourage you to read both Iron Lake and another Kruger title of your choice—just to get a fuller flavor of Kruger’s work. We also encourage you to be ready to compare Kruger’s work to other mystery writers that you enjoy more than Kruger or less than Kruger and share your insights on what makes a truly engaging mystery novel. Please join us on a fun new way to have a book club discussion. For more information contact Kellie Burrows at Kellene.burrows@uwrf.edu or 715-425-4427.
