Schedule of Events
Friday, May 8
1:30-2:15 p.m. Registration, Lower Level, University Center
Park the car, check in at the lower level of the University Center and meet up with fellow classmates. Coffee and cookies will be served while classmates arrive.
2:30 -3:30 p.m. Planetarium Tour
201 Agricultural Science Building
Sit back and relax while taking a tour of the sky. This presentation includes a general overview of earth's motions and how that influences what we see in the day and night sky. We will point out major constellations seen from northern Wisconsin, including the zodiac and circumpolar constellations. The program will conclude with a tour of the solar system and flying out to the edge of the universe.
4 p.m. Friday Night Fish Fry Buffet dinner
Falcon's Nest, University Center
Dinner menu: hot rolls and butter, garden salad, baked beans, coleslaw, baked potato, fried and baked cod, coffee and water.
5-7 p.m. Evening of Excellence Reception
Reception honoring 1970 Alumni, Distinguished Alum recipient, Lifetime Achievement recipient, Outstanding Young Alum recipient and Outstanding Service Award
Riverview Ballroom, University Center
Cheese and crackers, desserts, punch and coffee. Cash Bar.

Breakfast menu: coffee, orange and tomato juice, hot tea, bagels, muffins, fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs.
9:30 a.m. Free Time/Bookstore, University Center
10 a.m. Guided Campus Bus Tour
Departs from Lower Level, University Center, and will drop off at the Falcon Center.
11:30 a.m. Luncheon and Golden Jubilee Award Ceremony
University update and class medallion presentation: Chancellor Dean Van Galen

Lunch menu: grilled chicken kabobs with grilled vegetables and rice pilaf, hot rolls, salad, dessert and coffee, water.
1 p.m. Falcon Center Tour
Officially opened on Sept. 21, 2017, the Falcon Center for Health, Education and Wellness is a comprehensive indoor and outdoor facility that supports Health & Human Performance, Falcon Athletics, Campus Recreation, and the university as a whole. Falcon Center is comprised of a 15,000 square foot fitness center, three academic classrooms, one active learning classroom, a state-of-the-art performance lab, three multi-purpose studios, indoor climbing center, auxiliary gym, NCAA competition venues for men's and women's basketball, men's and women's ice hockey, men's and women's track and field, volleyball, softball, soccer, and football.

Note: The Class of 1970 will lead the Commencement processional.
4 p.m. A bus will take you back to the University Center and event concludes.
A booklet containing information about the Class of 1970 graduates will be developed and shared with those in attendance at the reunion (and available by request for those unable to attend).
To assist us in developing this booklet, please provide a short biography of your accomplishments, family, hobbies, place(s) of residence, etc. and return with your registration card or email email@example.com by Tuesday April 21.
Please limit your responses to 350 words or less. We will not be able to accommodate pictures.

Mention that you are part of UWRF's 1970 Golden Jubilee Group to receive special rates. Make your reservation early because the rooms will fill fast with this also being Commencement weekend.
Spaces in Pay lot 1 and Pay lot 2 have been reserved for you. No need to have a parking pass or stop by one of the pay stations. Please just park and come in.
Pay 1 lot is the large lot located by North Hall.
Pay 2 lot is the lot south of the University Center. Turn South on Wild Rose Ave. This lot fills up fast.
Please feel free to pull up on the south side of the University Center lower level to drop of any individuals close to the door.

Please register using the online form below and a credit card. Hardcopy invites were mailed out in February and registration can be mailed in with a check if you prefer. Deadline to register is May 1.
The cost of this two-day event is $50 per person. Event fee includes tours and presentations around campus, dinner, reception, breakfast and a lunch, alumni giveaway items, class bio directory, 50-year medallion, reserved seating at Commencement and bus transportation around campus.
We hope you are able to attend all the events offered during your time on campus but understand if you need to opt out of some. When registering please check the events you are able to attend. Thank you!
