Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs
 

Welcome to the Office of Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.

The Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs is the chief academic officer of the university who oversees all curricular programs; and departments and activities in academic affairs.

The Provost convenes the Provost’s Council and works closely with budget planning and management; implementing and monitoring UW System mandates; facilitating, monitoring and approving externally funded research programs; and providing oversight for student course evaluation for each academic program.  

The Provost also oversee the work of the three college deans (Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences; Arts and Sciences; Business, Education and Allied Health); the Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, and Graduate Studies; the Assistant Provost, the Director of Online Learning Effectiveness and the Executive Assistant who supports the division of Academic Affairs.  

The provost reports directly to the chancellor and serves as the campus representative in the chancellor's absence.
