Administration for Children & Families - The Administration for Children & Families within the Dept. of Health and Human Services is responsible for federal programs which promote the economic and social well-being of families, children, individuals, and communities.  At this site, you can access ACF press releases and find additional information about federal programs for children and their families.

American Bar Association's Juvenile Justice Center - The Center works to improve the functioning of the juvenile justice system by providing education, technical assistance, and information to juvenile defenders and juvenile advocates.

American Humane Association - Statistics, publications, training opportunities available at this site.

The Casey Family Program - This is a great site that has information of general interest about foster care, adoption, and kinship care, as well as specifically addressing the development and support of a sufficient pool of competent resource families to provide children and youths with safety, protection, stability and permanency, it also has good information on Chafee Foster Care Independence Act.

Children's Bureau - At this site, you can get information about federal programs assisting children and families, including AFCARS-the adoption and foster care analysis and reporting system.

Children's Defense Fund - Important site for children's programs.  Well described links, links with info on Healthy Start, Head Start

Child Welfare - Access to electronic journals, articles, links.A gateway to inmformation related to the welfare of children, including electronic journal, Child Welfare Review, a library, a resource on issues related to sources on child welfare.

Child Welfare League of America - CWLA is the oldest and largest national nonprofit organization developing and promoting policies and programs to protect America's children and strengthen America's families.

The Future of Children - The Future of Children is published twice annually by The David and Lucile Packard Foundation, Los Altos, CA. The primary purpose of The Future of Children is to disseminate timely information on major issues related to children's well-being.

Institute for Human Services(IHS) - IHS has provided the curriculum and trainers for the Western Wisconsin Partnership. Site includes links to the individual trainers.

The Michigan Child Welfare Law Resource Center - The mission of the Michigan Child Welfare Law Resource Center is to improve the legal system's handling of child-related cases through professional development.

National Clearing House on Child Abuse and Neglect Information - Excellent source of info-wide variety.

National Data Archive on Child Abuse and Neglect - The mission of the National Data Archive on Child Abuse and Neglect (NDACAN) is to facilitate the secondary analysis of research data relevant to the study of child abuse and neglect. By making data available to a larger number of researchers, NDACAN seeks to provide a relatively inexpensive and scientifically productive means for researchers to explore important issues in the child maltreatment field. Promising Practices Network - The Promising Practices Network highlights information on programs and practices that are effective in helping children, families, and communities.
