ATHLETICS

 UWRF competes in the nine–member Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC), a Division III NCAA conference.  As a Division III member, no athletically-related aid is provided to students, and strong emphasis is placed on the athlete as student as well as on first-rate competition.  The University supports 18 sports programs:  11 for women and 7 for men.  UWRF has a tradition of academic success with athletes earning an inordinate number of WIAC Scholar Athlete awards relative to its student population.
