Salary is $8.00 per hour for individual tutoring, $9.00 per hour for class-wide groups and $14.00 per hour for small study groups.
If you are recruited by a faculty member to work directly with their class you will be paid $9.00 per hour, the Help Room rate.
Qualifications:

Current student at UWRF enrolled in classes

Communicate effectively and work well with others

Confidence in your area of study

Receive an A or B in classes willing to tutor

Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
How to Apply:
Our application process is completely online. Complete an application form and obtain one faculty recommendation from each department for which you would like to tutor using the forms found below. We will contact you by email or phone to set up an in person interview.
What you should know before you apply:
- We will be checking your transcript as part of the application process. By filling out an application you agree to our academic record check.
- All new tutors are required to attend a new tutor training session, complete evaluations every semester, and attend returning tutor training each subsequent semester of employment.
- We will keep completed applications (includes student application and faculty recommendation) on file for one semester, you are welcome to reapply the following year.
- Tutoring Services can not guarantee a minimum number of hours.
